Swish Girls Basketball has exploded in this past year like never before. Our record of 60 girls over the summer of '21 was soon shattered with 88 in the fall of '21 and now 135 in the summer of '22. The program is now being offered at three locations:
 

• Fowler Park Rec Center, 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming, GA 30040

• Old Atlanta Park Rec Center, 810 Nichols Road, Suwanee, GA 30024

• Gwinnett Hall Baptist Church, 1868 Azalea Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30043)

The program is typically available in three seasons - spring, summer and fall. Every Swish Girls Basketball season will include two professional training sessions per week with scrimmages and games at the end of each session.

A Travel Basketball Alternative?

The expense and time requirements of travel ball put a lot of stress on families. Plus, the focus of travel clubs is typically program success over a player's individual need for development. Swish Girls Basketball provides intense training and scrimmage play (2v2 to 5v5) for very affordable fees and allows families to more easily maintain balance in their lives. We consider it a hybrid between recreation, school and travel basketball. The best of all worlds for a very reasonable fee.

Competitive Skill Building?

Everything from ball handling and finishing, to defensive positioning and rebounding will be taught in an environment that duplicates and even exaggerates game level intensity. The techniques used all come from coaches known for player development, including some of LA's top trainers and well known coaches such as Bo Ryan (Wisconsin) and Tom Izzo (Michigan State), etc.

Small sided games and decision making drills will also play a major roll as we move players from fundamental skill development to solid game decision makers.​
